きんようびからすいようびまでスーパーでショピングをしました。わたしはよくスーパーにいきます。スーパーになにがありますか?りんごがあいます。わたしはりんごをあまりたべません。
そして、もくようびにおじさんのうちでばんごはんをたべました。おじさんのりょうりはとてもおいしでした。そして、ちゃをのみました。
こんしゅうのにちようびのばん、わたしはプリンストンへかえりました。あきやしみはとてもよかったですよ。

Post mid-term reflections on current Japanese learning
After briefly reviewing my test paper, I felt that I deserved the mark I was given. Though most of the mistakes might have been corrected if I have enough time for proof-reading, my overall lack of proficiency in writing Japanese Hiragana and Katakana words forced me to spend more time on spelling.
For the next stage, I wish I could be more reflexive on writing Japanese vocabularies.
To achieve this goal, I need to memorize vocabularies in chapter lists and review them regularly.
For listening/oral exercises in particular, I think I need to be more fluent. For the mistakes I made in the oral exam, I feel that when listening to a (unprepared) question face to face, I sometimes cannot catch the particles in the sentence, which makes it very difficult to understand the question. I have also made some incorrect word/sentence pitch choices, but I think they are more remediable than the previous issue.
My new pronunciation exercise goals:
1. improve my understanding of sentences, esp particles that mark details such as time, place, or action.
2. improve my pronunciation in terms of word/sentence pitches and rhythms.
To achieve these two goals, I think I have to continue to listen to Japanese materials, not those for fun perhaps, but course-related listening materials such as the textbook and the speak everywhere programs.
